This intensive 2-day conference will examine trends in legal and/or certified forest policies and markets - globally and in China and explore ways to bridge policy and corporate practices to enhance the capacity for positive change.
This conference will be attended by hundreds of national and international experts from both private and public sectors. We have invited industry leaders, government administrators, executives of international financial institutes and scholars as speakers and panelists to share their perspectives on the current state of government policy and on sustainable forest products market practices from the supplier through to the manufacturer and the retailer, with an aim to bridge the gap between emerging policy and corporate practice. We will particularly explore the drive towards sustainable forest management inside China and those countries that supply China and explore opportunities to positively support the journey towards more sustainable forest management and development of certified forest products markets.
Our conference is planned to coordinate with and happen back to back with the famous FurnitureChina 2009 Expo, the world’s 3rd largest furniture conference happening Sept 9-12.
All presentations will be done with simultaneous translation in Chinese and English.
